Justin Boylan Hanshi has taken the skills and experience that have made him a world renowned martial artist and founded The Total Martial Arts Centre in 1995. The school is unique in Perth because of the programs that it offers.
The Total Martial Arts Centre has a philosophy that centre’s on mutual respect and in building belief and self-esteem in each of its students. Through its range of specialized and well-balanced martial arts disciplines they will help you to develop physically, mentally and emotionally so you become the person you have always wanted to be!
There are classes for everyone, regardless of age or ability and each one is centred around an exciting, engaging and comprehensive syllabus.
Unlike other schools who care more about money than martial arts, Total Martial Arts Centre are about setting a world class standard, wherever you are in your martial arts journey and they will tell you what you need to hear in order to help you succeed, and assist you along the way.

All our friendly instructors at the dojo have over 15 years of tried and tested teaching experience at a minimum and their qualifications are recognized by the relevant reputable International Martial Arts Organizations.

I have over 40 years experience in crowd control and security. I have provided personal security for a number of media and rock stars at public appearances, record store signings and I have organized the collection of stars to and from the airport where large numbers of fans have been in attendance.
I have worked for Former Vice President of the USA Al Gore, Bob Dylan, Rubin “Hurricane” Carter, Pink, Julian Lennon, Oasis, Cold Chisel, Jimmy Barnes, Harry Connick Junior, Human Nature and Rove McManus to name a few. I also worked in
many hotels and clubs providing crowd control functions as a team member and also as a team leader. I owned and operated a registered training organization, Security Institute (WA) for 10 years.

This experience has me involved with Close Personal Protection of International VIP’s, such as Rubin “The Hurricane” Carter, John Artis, Wendy Matthews and the ONLY Western Australian company to provide personal security for the Chinese Consulate and their visiting International Dignitaries, liaising with Federal Police and State Police Protection.
